How about living or having a second home at the Waldorf Astoria? You are probably imagining the elegant and luxurious hotel in New York. Actually, we are talking about Miami, Florida. The exclusive hotel brand partnered with a Florida developer for the launch of its first luxury residential tower, which, by the way, will be the tallest residential building anywhere south of Manhattan, measuring 1,049 feet high and with a total of 360. The highlight is the Sky Collection residences, which start at $4.9 million. The building is scheduled for delivery in 2025 and will be located in Downtown.

Owners will therefore have breathtaking views of the city and the sea from a height of approximately 800 feet. Luxurious Sky Homes range in size from 2,454 SqFt to 3,575 SqFt in two, three and four-bedroom floor plans. All are equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows that maximize panoramic views and natural light. In addition, the units are also offered with wide verandas, to further optimize the integration with the “vibe” and glamor of the city.

Access the Waldorf Astoria 5-star hotel services

One of the biggest advantages of owning a residence at the Waldorf Astoria in Miami is the access to the infrastructure of the condominium, in addition to the 5-star services provided by the hotel management. The Waldorf Astoria hotel amenities in the Miami Tower occupy the lower floors of the building and include an exclusive Peacock Alley restaurant, a pool deck with private cabanas, meeting rooms, a full spa, a gym with state-of-the-art equipment, among others.

The “Branded-Condo” trend in Miami

The so-called “Branded-Condos” are luxury condominiums in Miami associated with world-renowned brands. The Waldorf Astoria is one of them. However, Miami offers other opportunities in this segment as well. The most famous and one that has been a milestone in the global real estate industry is the Porsche Design Tower, built in 2016. A Tower that bears the name of the German brand Porsche Design revolutionized the Real Estate industry by offering its owners a high-tech elevator that allows them to take the car to the unit and park it in the living room or in a “garage in sky” (it depends of the apartment floor plan). In addition, all units in the Porsche also offer a large pool on the veranda, with a capacity for 10 people.

Following the trend launched by Porsche, the same developer launched the Residences by Armani Casa and recently announced the launch of Bentley Tower, in association with the British brand Bentley Motors. The Bentley Tower will be the largest oceanfront tower in all of America. Both the Porsche Design Tower, Armani and the future Bentley project are located on the elegant island of Sunny Isle Beach.

Another branded condo in Miami is the Aston Martin tower in Brickell. Several other branded-condos are being launched in Miami, as demand for this segment is high. Investors see the brand as investment protection, in addition to exclusivity and 5-star services.
